Airborne awarded LiDAR Program in Alberta
Airborne is pleased to announce it has been awarded a project to acquire high density LiDAR for the City of Grande Prairie in spring 2018. The site is 444 square km in size.

Airborne is pleased to announce it has been awarded two large area LiDAR projects in central Texas 4,500 square miles and south Coastal region 4,400 square miles. Specifications to meet QL-2 accuracy. Collection will be done using our Riegl LMS-Q1560 sensors.

Airborne has successfully completed acquisition of 5,500 square miles of QL-2 specification LiDAR in south central Texas. Collection began in early January and was completed using one of our Riegl LMS-Q1560 sensors.

Airborne is pleased to announce the award of a 5,300 square miles of LiDAR acquisition in Louisiana for collection of QL-1 (>8 returns) specifications. The site will be flown using Airborne’s VQ1560i LiDAR sensors and is scheduled for completion in February.

Airborne has completed LiDAR collection for 5,700 linear miles of powerline in North and Central California. Collection was conducted at an average density of 30 returns per square meter using a Riegl VQ1560i.

Airborne has completed the acquisition of 7,000 square miles of LiDAR in South Dakota at QL-2 accuracy specification but >4 returns density. The project was flown between November 1 and December 15 using two Riegl LMS Q-1560 Riegl sensors.

Airborne is pleased to announce it has been awarded a project in Missouri of 3,800 square miles. The site will be collected before mid-December to meet QL-2 specifications.

Airborne is pleased to announce it has been awarded a project in southern Ontario for a Conservation Authority to collect LiDAR for 1,060 square km. Collection will be based on a density of >10 returns per square meter to meet 10cm vertical accuracy. Collection will begin in spring 2018.
