Airborne’s Newest LiDAR System Arrives!

Airborne Imaging is proud to announce it has taken delivery of its newest LiDAR sensor the ALS70-HP, from Leica Geosystems Inc. The system will be added to Airborne’s current Leica and Optech arsenal and should be operational and on-site by the first week of February. “Airborne continues to be the number one wide area LiDAR mapping provider in Canada and one of the largest in North America. With our ever expanding data library, and over 350 clients in North America who use our acquisition or library services, the demand for our products has continued to grow exponentially. Leica was the logical choice. We have had the ALS50 in our production cycle for the past three years and the system has performed exceptionally well. The new ALS70 gives us higher density and productivity. It’s the ideal solution for our business model.” says Martin Maric, Corporate Sales Manager for Airborne Imaging.
